Terms & Conditions aka The Boring Stuff

This is not the most exciting part of the site, but as it’s a legal requirement, please bear with me! These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions for the sale of goods on the website. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.

Returns

I want you to love the products you buy as much as I do – so if something isn’t how you imagined it, or if you’re unhappy for any reason, let me know! You have one month to return any goods for a full refund. Please return unwanted goods in unused and perfect condition, and I will happily issue you a refund. For reasons of hygiene, please ensure that all underwear and swimwear are tried on over your child’s own underwear.

Don’t forget to save the certificate of posting in case the return goes missing in the post. Unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged returns. The customer is also responsible for any postage costs incurred returning products. Faulty Goods

If you happen to receive a product that is faulty or damaged in any way – I apologise! Each product is inspected before it is sent to you, but if it isn’t perfect, please send it back as soon as possible for an exchange or a full refund, including the returns postage. Before sending it back, please send an e-mail to (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with the subject heading “Faulty Good” and a brief description of the fault or damage, as well as your name and a contact telephone number.

Cancellations

You may cancel your order before delivery by e-mailing us at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or by phoning +44 (0) 7825 032 528. If your order has already been despatched, just follow the procedure set out in the returns policy above.

Purchases

Placing an order is really easy! You can either shop by a product category or brand. To find out more information about a product, just click on the product image. To buy a product, just choose the quantity and add to the shopping basket, which is handled through Paypal. Once your order is completed you will get an e-mail confirmation.

All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery. Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

For certain goods, information concerning stock availability is not available on the website. If you order goods that are not available from stock, we will contact you by e-mail and you will have the option to wait until the goods are available from stock, or cancel your order in accordance with our cancellation and returns policy. We will always endeavour to keep our products in stock; however some products are really popular and sell out very quickly!

Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between us will take place when we send you an e-mail confirming that the goods you have ordered have been despatched to you unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with our cancellation and returns policy.

Online Payment

All payments on marjoriejane.co.uk are processed via Paypal. Marjorie Jane assumes no liability whatsoever for the availability and functionality of this service. Marjorie Jane assumes no liability for any financial loss caused by the use of Paypal.

Delivery

Standard delivery in the UK is £3.95 for orders under £50; any orders over £50 are free! For international orders, please contact us at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for a shipping estimate. We are happy to ship internationally! Please note that when ordering goods from outside the EU you may be subject to additional import duties and taxes which are charged once your order arrives in your country. All prices and charges on the website are shown in UK pounds sterling. They include any VAT payable but exclude delivery charges. We are not responsible for any other importation taxes, sales taxes or charges that may be levied at the delivery destination.

Your goods should arrive between 3-5 working days from the date of your order. International orders typically take between 5-7 working days. Alternative delivery options are available on request, ideal if your order is required urgently. To discuss this, please phone +44 (0) 7825 032 528.

Orders will be sent to the delivery address that you specify when placing your order. We cannot be held responsible if this delivery address is incorrect. On occasion items may be lost in transit. If this occurs, please contact us by e-mail at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or by telephone on +44 (0) 7825 032 528 quoting your order number and full delivery address and we will investigate with the Royal Mail.

Privacy Policy

All secure transactions are handled through Paypal, so you are not sharing any credit card details with the Marjorie Jane website. I don’t keep any personal information after using it to send your purchase, unless you specifically ask me to, for example, to receive newsletters.
