I read this book in summer 2011 from a copy I picked up on BN Copying over my review.Synopsis Meagan is hallucinating a gorgeous guy in her shower and at work While entertaining, she can t control it If he s not just some random daydream, but is a real person sending her visions then who is he And why is he doing this And how does he know her name She also must find a way to handle being a witch serving a powerful goddess, whose agenda doesn t coincide with Meagan sMy ThoughtsI r I read this book in summer 2011 from a copy I picked up on BN Copying over my review.Synopsis Meagan is hallucinating a gorgeous guy in her shower and at work While entertaining, she can t control it If he s not just some random daydream, but is a real person sending her visions then who is he And why is he doing this And how does he know her name She also must find a way to handle being a witch serving a powerful goddess, whose agenda doesn t coincide with Meagan sMy ThoughtsI read this book last summer and really enjoyed it It is true that it could use some additional editing, but it wasn t enough of a problem for me to ruin my enjoyment of the book I found the relationship between the young witch, Meagan, and her newly discovered soulmate to be an interesting one, and while it moved quite quickly, my own life experience backs me up on declaring this is not an impossible thing The story kept me engaged and I ve been hoping to see the next book in this series come up I hope the author does not become discouraged and will continue this story I, for one, would love to see

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers To view it, click here 3 1 2 Overall a pretty good read, I liked it, I wouldn t reread it, so I can t say I really liked it, but a pretty good story none the less.Meagan starts as an unconfident girl, a genuinely nice and kind girl, but overall kind of somewhere between a pushover and somewhat invisible No let me rephrase that, she sees herself as a nobody, pretty, smart and kind, but not worthy of noticing, and yes still kind of a pushover in the beginning But as the story develops, as long as you can get over 3 1 2 Overall a pretty good read, I liked it, I wouldn t reread it, so I can t say I really liked it, but a pretty good story none the less.Meagan starts as an unconfident girl, a genuinely nice and kind girl, but overall kind of somewhere between a pushover and somewhat invisible No let me rephrase that, she sees herself as a nobody, pretty, smart and kind, but not worthy of noticing, and yes still kind of a pushover in the beginning But as the story develops, as long as you can get over that most of the talking in the beginning, and throughout the story goes on in her head, her character grows as she learnsabout Lucien and his people After the tug a war I think that is the right metaphor for what I am trying to illustrate , she lets Lucien put her through, she becomes a stronger character as she learns about her skills as a witch, and the horrible guilt that Lucian feels over the loss of his very long ago love, Catherine The story ends with her showing him that just because she is a mortal, he cannot think of her as the same whinny and weak person that Catherine was, and thus he cannot treat her as such Therefore the story ends better than it began, and if there isto come I hope to see Meagan continue her journey of self dicovery as a witch

Reviews are mixed on this book and so are my feelings regarding it The basic storyline is a very good one but somehow it just doesn t feel right Part of the problem with a book written in the first person is that it can seem like an internal monologue all the way through and boy, can this person monologue The whole book is written like she is talking to herself and as such I feel that it loses that certain something I will also say that the endearments become a bit much too nearly every Reviews are mixed on this book and so are my feelings regarding it The basic storyline is a very good one but somehow it just doesn t feel right Part of the problem with a book written in the first person is that it can seem like an internal monologue all the way through and boy, can this person monologue The whole book is written like she is talking to herself and as such I feel that it loses that certain something I will also say that the endearments become a bit much too nearly every sentence includes my man, my love, Lucien love, my heart and, like the monologue, it just becomes monotonous. On the whole, a good story if you can find it and some good characters which would benefit fromdevelopment There are hooks in the story which make me believe that there will be another book in this series Not sure if I will read it but the jury s still out on that one

I can honestly say this is the worse book I have ever read The only good thing I can say about it is that it reminds you of how good other books are It is like the first efforts of a thirteen year old with no writing skills or ability Absolutely awful, poor writing, characters and plot It is the car accident of the book world, you want to stop reading it but you just can t believe how awful it is The only comic relief was that the hero had the same name as my guinea pig which was entertai I can honestly say this is the worse book I have ever read The only good thing I can say about it is that it reminds you of how good other books are It is like the first efforts of a thirteen year old with no writing skills or ability Absolutely awful, poor writing, characters and plot It is the car accident of the book world, you want to stop reading it but you just can t believe how awful it is The only comic relief was that the hero had the same name as my guinea pig which was entertaining

Great read Loved the story Great take on vampires and witches and such a great romance including the fact that both people in a relationship are haunted by their past but they can over come the past Thanks to ms Munday for a great read.
