Purchased during a binge reading phase of weird westerns, I found this collection to be moderately good There were some creepy and well written stories, notably the Lone Crow story from dependable Joel Jenkins Blood for the Jaguar and the rather atmospheric J.A Campbell story narrated by a dog Brown and the Lost Dutchman Mine Rest of the stories were mostly ho hum, devoid of charm or humour, and following their own formula.Good time pass Nothing .

This is what s known as a weird western combining the horror and western genres These have become popular in recent years A few things stand out in this one The stories are on the long side, where a lot of these anthologies have rather short tales And the cover is one of the best I ve seen Most horror covers are black this one is bright red and absolutely awesome.
