    I read this book many years ago as a young child Back then I didn t pay any attention to unimportant things, like say, book titles and their authors I read it, liked it, and forgot about it But not completely After years of searching, I finally found it again The king and his huntsmen have disappeared A woodcutter finds a lost young woman and takes her in The marry and have a child named Aurea She has a magical comb given to her by her mother An evil sorceress pretends to be a cook for her parents The cook is searching for a magic charm and kills both parents in her effort to find it She renames the girl Curry Curry combs the wild animals fur and sings to them Although there is a beast in the forest, the animals protect her and Curry has no fear there Eventually the cook realizes the comb is the charm she is looking for She casts a spell on Curry to put her to sleep in an attempt to starve her to death in order to take the comb While Aurea sleeps, the animals comb her hair with the comb Aurea grows, and her hair creates a golden bower When the witch goes back for the comb, she greedily cut some of the gold, waking Aurea When the animals enter the bower, they turn into huntsmen of the king the beast turns into the king and Aurea s ...
